Once you are 100% positive this is something you wish to do and you are ready to begin the massive amount of paper work involved you can begin to study and reads the regulations in preparation of applying for the paper work. Before you get any building permits you should get you should go for your hunting permit, because this is a hunting sport if you are not okay with that you should stop and not get involved with falconry. You need a state licence aswell as federal. You must also atain building permits from your town to construct your mews as well as get permission to house a raptor. Once you have all of this you must get captor authorization permit from the state where you will be takeing your bird, currently it is illegal to capture in the state of Conneticut, and an import licence from Conneticut to bring in your bird. This can come at great costs, and this equipment and food is only going to last so long, you will need to get more as time goes on.
